Internet Channel now offers 'Vanity' Domain Name Service for Personal Dialup. This new feature allows Inch Account holders to associate a domain name with your 10M of personal web space.
There is NO charge for this service.
This standard charge includes hosting of your domain name, email forwarding for your domain, as well as 'linking' your domain name to your personal web space. Usage of Vanity Domain Name Service requires that web site content be limited to only personal web information. Any type of business or advertising information will need to be upgraded to an Internet Channel Web Server. Be sure to locate your WWW files in your 'public_html' directory to ensure availability to your web page viewers.

You may also check out our domain name service page. The charge for a domain name is $70 for 2 years. This fee will be charged to you by Verisign.

What type of web page am I allowed to have with a Vanity Domain?
A: You are limited to posting only non-business, non-advertising, personal web information. Any web information posted that does not confirm to these restrictions will result in a suspended vanity domain name. In order to reactivate the account, the non-conforming information will need to be removed, or upgrade to a web server.
What will happen to my current web address of http://www.inch.com/~username/ ?
A: This will still remain the same, the new adress of www.yourdomainname.com will also point to this site, so you are free to use whichever web address you like. You will probably want to redirect people to your index.html page inside the public_html folder used by our vanity domain service.
